JOHN M. LANEY, JR.
was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on July 17, 1946
and admitted to the Alabama bar in 1972 and the
Florida bar in 1998. His education includes
attendance at the University of Alabama where he
received his B.A. in 1968. Upon receipt of his
B.A., he attended the Cumberland School of Law
of Samford University where he received his J.D.
in 1971. He is a member of the Forum on the
Construction Industry as well as the Birmingham
and American Bar Associations, Alabama State
Bar, The Florida Bar, Alabama Defense Lawyers
Association, Florida Defense Lawyers
Association, International Association of
Defense Counsel. He is a member of the
Architect and Engineers Liability Committee,
Product Liability Committee, Business Litigation
Committee and Legal Malpractice Committee as
well as a member and part of the Alabama
Advisory Panel to the American Arbitration
Association. He is a Certified
Construction Dispute Arbitrator and Mediator by
AAA. His practice areas include Construction
Litigation and Professional Liability.

ROGER C. FOSTER
was born Kansas City, Missouri on April 16, 1952
and admitted to the Alabama bar in 1982.
His education includes attendance at the
University of Alabama at Birmingham where he
received his B.S. in 1978. Upon receipt of
his B.S., he attended the University of Alabama
where he obtained his J.D. in 1982. He is
a member of the International Association of
Defense Counsel, the Forum on the Construction
Industry as well as the Birmingham and American
Bar Associations, the Alabama State Bar, the
Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the
Defense Research Institute. His practice areas
include Architects and Engineers Liability,
Insurance Defense, Products Liability, and
Professional Liability.

FORREST L. ADAMS, II
was born in Dothan, Alabama
on June 9, 1975 and admitted to Alabama bar in
2001 and the Florida bar in 2003. His education
includes attendance at the University of Alabama
at Tuscaloosa where he received his B.S. in 1998
and then obtained his J.D. in 2001. He is a
member of the Birmingham and American Bar Associations, the
Alabama State Bar, the Florida Bar, the Alabama
Defense Lawyers Association, as well as the
Florida Defense Lawyers Association. His
practice areas include Litigation, and Architect
and Engineer Liability.

GREGORY S. MANNING
was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January
29, 1975 and admitted to the Florida bar in 2001
and the Alabama bar in 2002. His education
includes attendance at West Georgia College
where he received his B.S. in 1998. Upon his
receipt of his B.S., he attended the Cumberland
School of Law of Samford University where he
obtained his J.D. in 2001. He is a member of the
Alabama State Bar, the Florida Bar,
the Birmingham and American Bar Associations,
the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, as well
as the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. His

JOHN C. DESHAZO
was born in Dothan, Alabama on June 26, 1979 and
admitted to the Alabama bar in 2004 and the
Florida bar in 2009. His
education includes attendance at Auburn
University where he received his B.S. in 2000.
Upon receipt of his B.S., he attended the
University of Alabama where he obtained his J.D.
in 2004. He is a member of the Birmingham and
American Bar Associations, the Alabama State
Bar, the Alabama Defense Lawyers
Association, as well as the Florida Defense
Lawyers Association and the Defense Research
Institute. His practice areas include
Litigation, Insurance Defense, Workers’
Compensation Defense and Architects and

was born in Gadsden, Alabama on August 8, 1980 and
admitted to the Alabama bar in 2008 and the
Florida Bar in 2009. His
education includes attendance at the
University of Alabama where he received his B.S. in 2003.
Upon receipt of his B.S., he attended the Samford University where he obtained his J.D.
in 2008. He is a member of the Birmingham and American Bar
